Eric Lewis is known for his consummate skill on a plethora of stringed instruments, playing and singing and more. A recipient of the Premier String Player Award from the Memphis chapter of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences, he is known for his impeccable musical taste as much as for his hot guitar licks. Founded in 1990, Midsummer’s Music has been bringing chamber music to Door County, Wisconsin, audiences for more than three decades. The resident string quartet, the Griffon String Quartet, enriches the lives of children and adults throughout northeast Wisconsin through concerts, workshops, and music education. Collaborations involve poets and artists who create original works based on the music that inspired them.
