Collaborated with customer plants on just-in-time shipping project that allowed the customers to reduce inventory held in their plants without adversely affecting US West facilities. Introduced opportunities to reduce costs by utilizing new paper technologies for use in making shipping containers.

Ridges Sanctuary – Board (6 yrs), Development Committee (3 yrs and presently) Rotary Club of Door County North – Member (11 yrs) of which 5 was secretary, 2½ served as president, and 5 served on the board.
Peninsula Music Festival Sustaining Committee – Member (8 yrs), serving as secretary for 4 years, as 2nd VP for 3 years and now 1st VP. During that time, I was 2nd violin in a quartet that performed for 4 years at Sustaining Committee meetings. (I started playing in grade school and continued through the years, including participating in the pit orchestra in high school for the musicals, and ending when I graduated from college. The PMFSC quartet was the first I played again in almost 40 years.)
