Composer-in-Residence Jacob Beranek presents Coffee Talk July 29
During this free, virtual Coffee Talk, Jacob Beranek, the Midsummer’s Music Composer-in-Residence, shares his knowledge about the great Czech composer Bohuslav Martinů.
He will also introduce you to his latest commission, Piano Trio No. 1, “Midsummer,” (along with an audio snippet of the piece!) which Midsummer’s will premiere during the New Voices concert, streaming starting August 19.
Jacob will also respond to live questions at the end of this streaming event.
