Midsummer’s Music Update – Coronavirus

Allyson Fleck - ViolaMidsummer’s Music staff, board, patrons, volunteers, and artists are concerned about the current world situation with Coronavirus (COVID-19). Everyone’s safety and health are our top priority! We are watching this situation closely. Midsummer’s Music has a plan in place to address future challenges. It is a constantly evolving situation and preparedness is difficult at best. Our 30th season is scheduled to begin on June 12 and, between now and then, we will be doing everything we can to assure that you feel safe and comfortable at our events. As we near opening night, we will update you on the steps we will take and have taken to prepare for your attendance.

We continue to monitor the most up-to-date information from the CDC at cdc.gov and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services at dhs.wisconsin.gov/outbreaks. Midsummer’s Music will make plans accordingly.

At this time, all Midsummer’s Music performances and events will continue as scheduled. We will re-address this closer to the beginning of our summer season and make any necessary changes based on what is recommended by our federal, state and local governmental authorities. This past weekend all Griffon events were cancelled or live streamed. These videos are available on Midsummer’s Music website and Facebook. As we continue to monitor safety precautions, we will keep you informed of future Griffon performances.

Midsummer’s Music will communicate updates via email, our website, and Facebook.

We thank you all for your support and hope that we will see you for Midsummer’s Music 30th Anniversary year.

Until then, be safe and be healthy,

Allyson Fleck
