Vini Sant’Ana
This year had a very exciting summer! For 20 days in June, I went to Brazil, where I was invited to give a masterclass and play as a soloist with a chamber orchestra in São Paulo.
I was very fortunate to play two programs at Midsummer’s — Prescient Youth and Mendelssohn Octet.
With the Griffon String quartet, I performed and taught at two music camps this year. First, we went to Wesleyan, Illinois, and then Manhattan, Kansas.
My wife and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary in the Upper Peninsula!
For the 2019/2020 season, we want to be more involved with the string programs in the area, have more performances and teaching opportunities around the Midwest, and start collaborating with other artists.
